We’ve all been told you have to make time to write – schedule it on your calendar and make it a priority. Many of us also know this advice is easy to say and a little more challenging to put into practice.
How many of you have also heard that life is what happens while you are making other plans?
My husband and I don’t have children, I have a BA in Professional Writing and we have little in the way of family or health dramas. It seems like the perfect set-up for a writer, doesn’t it? At 45, it would appear I’ve had the time and experience to have several books in a bookstore by now.
But it’s not always the big things that foil a perfectly good plan.
